Standards of practice

As a guidance for our members but also for the general public, the I.A.I.P.P. publishes standards of practice as a guidance of the minimum standards that have to be applied while conducting our professions.

The standards of practice will depend on the different services, as psycho-physiology applications differ from polygraph examinations for example.

Within polygraph examinations there might also be different minimum requirements depending on the type of examination that are conducted.

The standards are based on ethical, business practices as well as on technological advancement, when applicable.

We invite the public to review the standards, set for the service they contracted, for a fair appreciation of the service they were given.
